How much will I save using Jupiter Pharmacy?

Typically our rates are just one-third of US pharmacy rates with upto 95% discount on some drugs. Depending on how much you buy, you will save between a few hundred to a few thousand dollars when you purchase from us. Savings tend to be higher on brand names.

2.

How does the entire process work?

After browsing the list of products, simply click on the pack size of the product you have selected and enter the number of packs you wish to order, you will then answer an online questionnaire (voluntary if you are already under the care of your own physician) to provide information relevant to your medical condition. Once you complete the questionnaire, you will see a confirmation page where you can review your answers. First time users will then need to set up an account with address information. You will then be taken through the checkout process.
There is never any hidden or extra charge. Shipping is a flat $10 per order. Based on the questionnaire, a medical review by our physicians will rule out any medical factors that will prohibit any drug being indicated for you. If approved, a qualified pharmacist will then recheck and fill your prescription and it will be shipped out within 24 hours. You will be charged only for products that are shipped.

3.

Is it legal to buy prescription medications online?

The laws vary from country to country, but generally speaking it is perfectly legal to order medicines from an overseas pharmacy and have them shipped to you as long as you are importing them for your own personal use. For further details, please see the Legal Info page.

4.

Do I need a prescription from my doctor?

We do not need any prior prescription or your doctor’s telephone number since the requirement for a prescription varies from country to country; but we do require the participation of our own physicians to review your medical history and this service is provided free of charge.

5.

How do you protect my privacy and security?

We at Jupiter Pharmacy are dedicated to patient privacy and security. All transactions, personal information and queries are treated in the strictest of confidence through our 128-bit secure encryption technology and under doctor-patient privilege laws. All credit card information is submitted to the highest level of security and precautions, with safeguards against fraud. Email addresses will not be released to any third party.

6.

How do you guarantee the quality of your products?

All drugs sold by us are of the same brand, purity and potency as the ones available in the US, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia. They are the same medicines found in all the major pharmaceutical markets around the world. The same multinational pharmaceutical companies, applying the same excellent standards manufacture them. The only difference is the price! They are shipped to you in the manufacturers’ original packing.

7.

Why do brand names vary from country to country?

The brand name is often changed internationally for marketing reasons and as a business strategy to limit importation from a cheaper priced country into a higher priced country. But the drug is made by the same company, often at the same manufacturing facility. And the product remains the same!

8.

How do brand name and generic drugs differ?

When scientists develop a new drug, they give it a generic name reflecting its chemical makeup. Once the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the local regulatory authority approves the drug, the manufacturer markets it with a brand or trade name, which is usually shorter and easier to remember. A drug company can hold exclusive patent rights to make a drug for upto 20 years after its discovery. After that other companies can start making generic versions of the drug.

9.

Are generic drugs safe?

In almost all cases generics work as well as their brand name siblings, and often cost considerably less. This is possible not because of lower quality, but because research and advertising costs are much less for generics. Many insurance plans encourage you to accept the generic version of a drug whenever it is medically safe. Most states let pharmacists substitute a generic when appropriate and when your doctor approves it.

10.

When shouldn’t generics be substituted for brand name drugs?

A very small number of drugs have a "narrow therapeutic index," meaning that a small variation in dose can cause problems such as too little effectiveness or too many side effects. That is, with phenytoin (brand name Dilantin), carbamazepine (Tegretol), valproic acid (Depakene), divalproex sodium (Depakote), digoxin (Lanoxin), warfarin (Coumadin), lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith), levothyroxine (Synthroid, Levoxyl), and theophylline (Theodur), you shouldn't switch from brand to generic or vice versa without your doctor's approval and close supervision. Our doctors and pharmacists will be happy to assist you with this.
